Evangelization and Outreach at St. Ann’s and St. Brendan’s

A few weeks ago inspired by a daily Mass homily, a group of parishioners at St. Brendan’s approached Fr Drea and asked to form an Evangelization Committee. This committee will serve to work on improving overall Mass attendance in the collaborative and provide outreach to the collaborative neighborhoods regarding Catholic life at St. Ann’s and St. Brendan’s. Recently a few of the parishioners have been going around the neighborhoods distributing bulletins and postcards with Mass time information and serving as an invitation to become involved in collaborative life. We applaud the grassroots initiative of these parishioners and invite others to join together to strengthen our wonderful collaborative. If you are interested in learning more, please contact Amy Mulvey at the parish office and your name will be given to the group.

Current Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion

Whether you assist with communion at Mass or bring it to the sick/homebound, our parish collaborative will be having a day of recollection for all involved, followed by a formal installation ceremony and blessing. We're also trying to better coordinate our efforts in reaching out to our homebound parishioners. For all those who bring communion to others, please provide Amy Mulvey with your contact information, and the names/ addresses of the homebound person. Please help us to continue building up this important ministry in our parish collaborative!

We have many homebound parishioners who would be evergrateful to be able to receive Holy Communion on a regular basis! We are also in need of lectors and help distributing communion at our weekend Masses. Please leave your contact information with Amy Mulvey in the main office and Fr. Fiorillo will get in touch with you soon about training and installation. Amy Mulvey, Main Office: 617-436-0310
